Once you complete the contact form, sit back and relax, I will be in touch. We can discuss details and I will answer any questions you have. When you are ready we will get a date in the diary.
A newborn session will typically last 2 hours. I will come to your home and we will chat, I will learn more about your story whilst capturing you all in a relaxed and candid way. I will give gentle guidance as to where might be a good spot to sit/stand and then I will capture you talking to your newborn, watching them sleep, feeding them, all the everyday moments and interactions. The session will be very much baby-led, we will work at baby's pace ensuring they are happy, fed and well rested. You will even have time for a warm cup of tea whilst I photograph your newest addition on their own.
Your home is the perfect place for a photography session, it is personal to you and a very important part of your family's story. Our homes are an extension of ourselves, we decorate them to our tastes and have belongings that are important to us - all this adds to the memories that the photos will bring you in the future. As long as you have windows and doors you will have beautiful light for photos. We can, and I probably will, move stuff around to get you all in the perfect spot. Your bed and sofa are great spots for photos.
Your family session will last about 1 hour, either at your home or an agreed upon outdoor location. Clients often worry that their children will not behave, or get bored, but you do not need to. We will tell jokes, play games so your children enjoy themselves and we capture some lovely natural smiles from everyone. I have taught in schools for over 10 years so I have seen it all before and have a few tricks up my sleeves.
